Billing Car and Van Centre was established in 2012 by Mark Littlewood, whose passion for motorsport and customer service has shaped the business from the beginning.
Mark started his career with an apprenticeship at Cosworth Engineering, inspired by his love of motorsport, especially Formula One. Although he enjoyed the technical side, he soon realised that his true interest lay in meeting people and working in sales. Over the next 30 years, Mark built a successful career in the motor industry, working in franchised dealership groups that represented brands such as Ford, Kia, Nissan, Renault, and Rover. He began in the sales department and progressed to senior roles including Sales Director and Franchise Director.
In 2012, Mark took the opportunity to start his own business, something he had wanted to do for many years. He launched Billing Car and Van Centre with a clear goal: to offer quality used cars and vans that were well prepared, professionally displayed and sold with honest advice. Most importantly, he wanted every customer to be treated the way he would like to be treated himself.
Mark partnered with the RAC to add credibility and peace of mind to the service he offered. This led to Billing Car and Van Centre becoming an RAC Approved Dealer, a status Mark is proud to hold. Every vehicle comes with a minimum six-month nationwide warranty, with claim values up to the full purchase price. Customers can also extend the warranty up to three years at a competitive price.
The business quickly established itself and Mark later opened a Service Centre near the sales site. The workshop is fully equipped to carry out MOTs, servicing, cambelt replacements, air conditioning repairs and re-gassing, laser wheel alignment, diagnostics, and all types of mechanical work.
To further improve the customer experience, Mark launched a sister company called Billing Vehicle Movements. This allows his own team to collect carefully selected vehicles for sale and personally deliver vehicles purchased online. Every customer receives a full handover, ensuring the same high standard of service wherever they are.
